Description: Cat Head Delta Blues & Folk Art has been called "one of the 17 coolest record stores in Americal" (Paste Magazine), one of the "1000 Places to See Before You Die" (Workman Publishing) and received the Blues Foundation's coveted "Keeping the Blues Alive Award" (Retail). Established in 2002, Cat Head is a blues CD, DVD, book, magazine, T-shirt and art store located in the heart of the Mississippi Delta. Its mission is to "promote from within," aiming to spread the gospel of the Delta blues to a mainstream world. In addition to store operations/marketing, Stolle writes for Blues Revue magazine, deejays for WROX Radio, is an XM Radio correspondent, books Ground Zero Blues Club, co-organizes Juke Joint Festival, produces CDs/DVDs, and is a consultant to blues and marketing industries. His CD productions have led to 5 Blues Music Award nominations for Big George Brock. Films include "Hard Times" and the co-production, "M for Mississippi" -- a Blues Music Award and Living Blues Award winner. Stolle is available for project consultancy and production.
