Willie Foster, Live at Airport Grocery, 1999 Mempho Records, $15. It's officially out of print, hard to find and easy to see why. The late, great Willie Foster put on tons of memorable performances on harmonica and vocals but was only professionally recorded a handful of times. His Palindrome Records output is currently unavailable and his RMD Music work suffers from some ill-placed synthesizers. So, this is the one to get while you still can. It's a sweet and easy recording just like the man himself. Recorded "live" at the Airport Grocery in Cleveland, MS, it includes many of the songs Willie was known for... Track listing:
