ALSO, here's a review of our August mini-fest in Blues & Rhythm magazine (ww.bluesandrhythm.co.uk). Mike Stephenson wrote (issue #193): "[The] Cat Head [Delta] Blues and Folk Art store in Clarksdale, put on [its] own mini blues festival on the street of Delta avenue the day after the main event, featuring CeDell Davis together with Jim[bo] Mathus, Floyd Lee, Big George and Bill "Howlin' Madd" Perry, all with their respective bands, and Willie King in a [separate] solo set. The whole thing was a tremendous event and it shows the blues is alive, well, and very healthy in this part of the world."
