Juke Joint Festival & Related Events - The 9th annual is April 12-15, 2012 (with fest itself on Sat April 14 and related events that Thurs night through Sunday) in the historic downtown... outside, at Cat Head, the juke joints, movie theater, train depot and more. Very cool. Daytime events mostly free; Saturday nighttime wristband gets you into over 15 blues venues for nothin' but the real-deal blues!

Clarksdale Film Festival - Last weekend in January in the historic downtown... 2nd annual celebration of blues, music, Southern and Mississippi films! 2011's inaugural fest was a blast. Don't miss 2012 -- January 26-29.
