Carolyn Norris is an African-American painter from Mississippi who is self-taught but brings years of experience to the party. Her beautiful work is typically done on found wood or substrates. She alternates between traditional Delta folk scenes and sophisticated abstract art. We suspect that her creativity has not yet peaked, although even if it has... what a peak! Her work, friendly nature and professional attitude are very impressive. The only problem with her paintings is deciding which ones to take home.
