Welcome to Dela’s Stackhouse...we buy & sell old records.

We are in the riverboat shaped building at 232a Sunflower in downtown Clarksdale on the banks of the mysterious Sunflower river.

For 10 glorious years(1988-98), this was the home of Stackhouse/Delta Record Mart/Rooster Blues. We opened Dela’s in July 2001 and are striving to carry on Jim O’Neal’s “international crusade to correct the global trade imbalance between Mississippi and the rest of the world...”

Y’ALL COME ON BY!!!

In addition to a large and growing stock of vintage LP’s, 45’s and 78’s we carry new CD’s, tapes, LP’s & 45’s (mostly blues, jazz, soul, R&B and Gospel). In addition we exhibit & sell the extraordinary handmade musical instruments and paintings of James “Super Chikan” Johnson, Clarksdale bluesman. We also carry Jim O’Neal’s Delta Map Kit (updated to March, 2003), regular & show posters, Sunflower Festival T-shirts, postcards, new & used blues magazines, bumperstickers, hand sewn mojo bags, vintage clothing and a small but powerful selection of used books housed in a bookcase from Rowan Oak. We do in-store sales and mail orders. A partial list of mail order items is at the end of this page but call (662-627-5514) or e-mail (dedrica8@dixie-net.com) us with your special orders.
