Okay. To be fair, most of my memories of evenings spent in Como, Mississippi, are a little, uh... fuzzy.  (That's moonshine country, y'all.) But I can tell you this, definitively: Some amazing blues music has come out of that town and the Hill Country region surrounding it. This new CD collection is a great place to start with artist like RL Boyce, Otha Turner, Mississippi Fred McDowell, Jessie Mae Hemphill and more. Get the CD. Enjoy it. And then, pack a spare liver... and come for a visit!
