Wonderful original painting of Mississippi-born blues hall of famer Chester "Howlin' Wolf" Burnett. He hailed from over near West Point, but his mother lived here on Issaquena Avenue in Clarksdale later in life. Painting is 14" tall (including frame).
Self-taught African-American artist W. Earl Robinson of Clarksdale paints what he knows and sees. Most of his paintings (like this one) also feature handbuilt found-wood frames.
