Wonderful original painting of the blues "boogie man"... Mr. "boom boom boom" — John Lee Hooker. JLH came from near Clarksdale, made his name in Detroit, and died out in California. He is still a huge influence on blues players and rockers around the globe. Painting is 14" tall (including frame).

Self-taught African-American artist W. Earl Robinson of Clarksdale paints what he knows and sees. Most of his paintings (like this one) also feature handbuilt found-wood frames.
