What are Cat Head's store hours?
(DURING "CORONA," PLEASE EMAIL FIRST!!)
Our usual hours are: Monday-Saturday 10am-5pm, weekly. Plus open Sundays of festival weekends. And at least some hours on most holidays (but not the majors like Thanksgiving & Christmas). Got a tour bus? Oh hell yeah. We're open! (Please just give me a heads up at roger@cathead.biz or 662-624-5992.)

Can y'all tell me about blues shows?
We are by far your best source for all live blues shows in Clarksdale and the surrounding Mississippi Delta. We are in constant contact with the juke joints, clubs, restaurants, festivals and musicians! Visit Cat Head as soon as you arrive in Clarksdale, or click on our "Music Calendar" link at the top of this page.

Is there really live blues 7 nights a week?

Yes, you can go out every night for blues... but only in Clarksdale, Mississippi. (See my "Music Calendar" at top of this page.) We are also often called the "Festival City" since we have so many annual music festivals. (Also on my "Music Calendar" web page.)

Famous folks ever visit Cat Head?
Besides all of the awesome blues legends (from Honeyboy Edwards and Pinetop Perkins to Willie King and T-Model Ford)... Robert Plant, Morgan Freeman, Caroline Kennedy, Ozzy Osbourne, Tom Waits, Dan Akroyd, Alex Chilton, Jessica Lange, Mike Wolf, Andrew Zimmern, Ty Pennington, Bill Wax, Tim Westergren and others have graced our fine establishment during the past decade and a half.

What is this infamous "Cat Head"?

This is the original, baby. Cat Head — Mississippi's Blues store since 2002! We're your first stop in Clarksdale when you're looking for concert information, local recordings and souvenirs (but not the tacky stuff). Cat Head is the store I always wanted to walk into but could never find. So, I created it.

Do you ship your merchandise?
Yes. We ship cool blues and Cat Head stuff all around the world every week. Our shiny fleet of drones can fly your purchases right to your door. (Ok.
