"The Best Of Muddy Waters" title and its "King of the Blues" subtitle tell you much of what you need to know... except that this 2-CD set is a  fabulous bargain! 50 tracks by the blues legend — from his earliest recordings (including backing by the likes of Jimmy Rogers, Eddie Boyd, Otis Spann, Little Walter and other icons of the genre). Approximately 70 minutes each, the two discs are stellar. Highly recommended set from this influential musician who grew up here, in Clarksdale, Mississippi.
